Trulywooden is a one-builder shop making wooden flags for Fire, EMS, Police, and Dispatch. Every piece is cut, routed, torched, and signed by the same hands — start to finish, no shortcuts.
I'm Brandon Greene. I've spent over twenty years in engineering and manufacturing, and the part of the work I've always loved most is developing new products — putting hands on a problem and building something useful out of the other side.
I founded Trulywooden in 2017. It started small — door signs, coasters, family name signs — the kind of pieces friends and neighbors asked for. Over the years, I've had the honor of doing work for the Vermont State Police and the Windsor, Vermont Police Department, and that work changed where this shop is headed.
My wife is an EMT. A lot of our friends are in Fire, EMS, Police, and Dispatch. I see what they carry home every shift, and I see how rarely it gets honored on a wall the way it deserves to be. So Trulywooden is pivoting — focused now on building unique, hand-made wooden tributes for the people who answer the call.
Every flag is still built one at a time. Routed in solid pine, torched until the grain stands up, sealed clear so the tone holds. No printers, no decals, no factory floor — just the same process, every flag, every time.
Retirement gifts. Promotion gifts. Memorial pieces with the end-of-watch date burned in by hand. Full-station orders. And single flags for the men and women who want their work honored on the wall above the couch.
Email is best: Sales@trulywooden.com. Tell me what you want, who it's for, and any names or numbers to burn in. You'll get a written quote and a Square invoice the same week.
No MDF. No printed substrates. Solid pine, milled and hand-finished.
Every stripe gets a torch in the shop. The grain stands up — that's the look.
Made to order. No batches, no warehouse. Your flag is built when you order it.
